Local Fruits

Gradually my interest in photography’s increasing n m loving it. As I told earlier I live in a small place but it’s full of natural beauty n nature shows her love on daily basis. Now a days market’s flooded with these local goodies.

These are chuli (kind of apricot but a bit bitter), local plums to which they call polam.
Apples are still very small but I can see trees on the roadside are overloaded with them n they have started growing big n red n m desperately waiting.
In the morning when I opened the door of my balcony I saw a magnificent view. Sun was rising n its rays were dropping beautifully on the neighbouring village which’s located in the lap of the peak which’s in front of my balcony across the river Alaknanda near “Vishnuprayag” one of the most pious prayags of Hindu religion. In Hindu mythology “Prayag” mean confluence of two rivers. So at Vishnuprayag beautiful river Alaknanda confluence with exquisite river Dhauliganga.

These kind scenes always compelled me to think do I really want to go back to Delhi? A part of my heart always tells me to settle down at this beautiful place but don’t know what stops me always to do so may be bcoz of medical facilities. Getting good medical help in this remote town of Uttarakhand’s very rare.

Ok what I was discussing about? Beautiful, luscious and plumy fruits. Local people always warn me not to eat more than 3-4 a times but who cares, I can’t restrain myself from eating them. They’ve a sweet n sour taste n sometimes a bit bitter too. So right now I’m enjoying my day with these good looking fruits.
