So as I mentioned earlier about my experimental recipes with 1tbsp oil I’m presenting my first recipe of the series.
Ingredients:
Paneer (cottage cheese) - 200 gms(sliced into rectangular pieces) soak into warm water to make it softer.Onion - 1 (sliced into rectangular pieces)
Tomato – 1medium (sliced into rectangular pieces)
Capsicum- 1 medium (sliced into rectangular pieces)
Ginger – 2inch finely sliced (optional)
Cumin seeds- ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – ½ tsp
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp (optional)
Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
Salt - To taste
Oil – 1tbsp
Method:
1. Heat 1tbsp oil in a non-stick frying pan n add cumin seeds.2. Put onions and sauté them till golden brown (remember cook on low or medium heat)
3. Add tomato & capsicum n sauté them also.
4. Put turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and sliced ginger and salt. Cook it for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Put paneer into it n mix it well with the spices. Turn off the heat within a minute of adding paneer to keep it soft.
Garnish it with green coriander or parsley n it is ready to serve.
